Terms of use

Last updated

These terms govern your use of nooryva.com, which is published by Nooryva. By using the site you accept them. They are about the website itself. They are not the terms on which we move your goods: those are set out separately in our standard trading conditions, and a quotation we send you is governed by those rather than by this page.

What you may do with what is here

You are welcome to read, print and share any page for your own business use, including sending it to a colleague or quoting it in an internal report. That is what it is for.

What you may not do is republish our text or images as though they were yours, sell them, or scrape the site wholesale to rebuild it somewhere else. The text, images, layout and the name Nooryva belong to us or to the people we licensed them from.

If you want to quote us publicly, please do, and please link back to the page you took it from. If you want to use something more substantially than that, write and ask.

What our published information is, and is not

We write about commodities, routes, tariffs, documentation and customs because it is useful. None of it is professional advice, and none of it is an offer.

  • Prices, lead times, availability and route information change constantly, and anything published here is a general indication at the time it was written.
  • Tariff classifications, duty rates and documentary requirements differ by country, by consignee and by the day. Confirm them with the relevant authority or with us before you rely on them.
  • Nothing on this site forms a contract or a binding quotation. A binding quotation is one we send you, in writing, for a named shipment.

Our disclaimer sets this out in more detail, and our editorial standards explain how the articles are researched and corrected.

Using the forms properly

The quote and contact forms are for genuine enquiries. When you use them you agree not to send anything unlawful, abusive or deliberately false, not to impersonate somebody else, not to submit another person’s details as though they were yours, and not to use the forms to deliver advertising or malware.

We defend the forms against automated abuse, and we limit how often the same machine may submit one. If a submission is refused, that is why.

Availability

We try to keep the site up and correct, but we do not promise that it will always be available, that it will never contain a mistake, or that it will suit any particular purpose of yours. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it without notice.

Links to other websites

Where we link to somebody else’s site, we do so because it looked useful. We do not control it, we are not responsible for it, and a link is not an endorsement of everything on it.

Where our responsibility ends

We do not exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not permit us to exclude. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, business, contracts or anticipated savings, or for any loss arising from your relying on general information published here rather than on a written quotation or a written answer from us.

Nothing on this page limits the rights you have as a consumer, if you are one.

Privacy and cookies

How we handle information about you is set out in the privacy policy, and what we store in your browser is listed in the cookie policy. Both form part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms. The date at the top of this page is the date of the version you are reading, and the version in force is whichever is published here when you use the site.

Which language applies

These terms are published in every language this site is published in. If the versions disagree, the English version applies.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the law of Pakistan, and the courts of Karachi Courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of them.

How to reach us

Write to about anything on this page. If you want to complain rather than ask, our complaints policy sets out how that works and how long it takes.
