Customs and compliance
Tariffs, permits and paperwork, handled before they become a delay.
Customs and compliance means Nooryva classifies your goods, prepares the declarations, obtains the permits, and clears the shipment through customs at both ends. Clearance problems are almost always paperwork problems, and paperwork problems are avoidable if the work is done before the goods move.
What it covers
- Tariff classification and HS code determination
- Duty and tax calculation before you commit to the shipment
- Import and export permits, licences and quota applications
- Phytosanitary, veterinary and health certification
- Customs declarations at origin and destination
- Handling inspections, queries and holds when they arise
How it works
-
Tell us what you need
The commodity, the quantity, the origin if you know it, and where it has to arrive. A rough idea is enough to start.
-
We source and price it
We find and vet the supplier, negotiate the terms, and come back with a route and an itemised quote.
-
We book and clear it
Freight booked by air, sea or land. Documentation prepared, tariffs and permits handled, customs cleared.
-
We deliver it
To the address you gave us. You are told where the shipment is at each stage, by a person, not a portal.
Tell us what you need moved.
Send us the commodity, the route and the volume. We come back with a route and a quote, itemised before you commit to anything.
What you receive
- The HS code your goods will be cleared under, before shipping
- A duty and tax figure you can budget against
- Every permit obtained before the goods move
- Someone who deals with a hold directly rather than telling you to wait

Questions
What happens if my shipment is held at customs?
We deal with it. Most holds are a documentation query or an inspection request, and both are resolved by supplying what the authority has asked for quickly. We tell you it has happened, what caused it, and what it will take to release it.
Who is responsible if the goods are misclassified?
We determine the classification and we stand behind it. If a classification is challenged we handle the response. We will also tell you in advance where a classification is genuinely borderline, because on some goods it is.
Can you tell me the duty before I order?
Yes, and you should ask. Duty on some goods is high enough to change whether the order makes sense at all. We would rather tell you that before you commit than after.
