Cookie policy

This page lists every cookie Nooryva can set on nooryva.com, what each one is for, and how long it stays. The list at the end is not typed out by hand: it is read from the site itself, so it cannot quietly fall out of date.
What a cookie actually is
A cookie is a small note a website asks your browser to keep and hand back on your next visit. Some notes are needed for a site to work at all, such as the one that keeps a form you are filling in from being lost. Others are conveniences, such as remembering which language you chose. A few exist to count visitors.
Your choice, and how to change it
Nothing that counts you is set unless you accept it. When you first arrive, a banner asks. Accept and reject are given the same weight, the same size and the same prominence, because a choice that is harder to refuse than to give is not a choice.
Refusing costs you nothing. Every page, every form and every feature works exactly the same either way. We do not ask again on every page, we do not hide the reject button behind a second screen, and we do not treat closing the banner as agreement.
You can change your mind whenever you like, from the cookie link in the footer of any page. Withdrawing your acceptance does not merely stop the counting: it deletes the analytics cookies from your browser there and then.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser’s own settings. If you block the strictly necessary ones, forms and sign-in will stop working, which is a limitation of how the web works rather than a choice of ours.
What we do not do
It is worth being specific, because a great many sites say the opposite of this in more words:
- We run no advertising cookies and belong to no advertising network.
- We do not follow you to other websites, and nothing here feeds a profile of you anywhere else.
- We load no third-party scripts and no third-party fonts. Everything this site needs it serves itself, so simply reading a page tells nobody but us that you did.
- We do not sell or share anything a cookie records.
Cookies set by somebody else
The only cookies here that are not ours belong to Google Analytics, and they appear only if you accept analytics and only while the site has analytics switched on. Google is the company that sets and reads them. If the site is not using analytics at all, they are absent from the list below, because that list describes the site as it is now rather than as it might be.
How this connects to the rest
What we do with information you actually give us, rather than what a cookie records, is set out in the privacy policy.
What we can store on your device
The table below is generated from the site, grouped by what each item is for. Strictly necessary cookies come first, because those are the ones you cannot refuse without breaking something. One group is not cookies at all but something your browser keeps for itself, and it is listed because what matters is that it sits on your device.
